For Professionals

At Kaleidoscope Wellness, we truly understand the importance of quality, relationally driven supervision to help mental health professionals make sense of their work and selves. Therapists in our practice are qualified (both in licensure and experience) to provide you with quality supervision options to meet your licensure or credentialing needs.

REFLECTIVE SUPERVISION/Clinical supervision

Believe it or not, just like modalities of treatment, there are also a variety of models of supervision. The model that resonates with us most, and is considered ‘best practice’ specifically for professionals working with and on behalf of infants, young children and their families, is called Reflective Supervision.

Reflective Supervision is a supervisory relationship wherein supervisees are provided a physically and emotionally safe space to explore their work. We know that it’s impossible to expect that our professional and personal selves are not inextricably tied; using the Reflective Supervision model, we open the door for both to exist within the supervision space. Through either individual or group supervision, you will partner with your supervisor to consider multiple perspectives, explore your intellectual and emotional reactions, and work toward finding your authentic professional-self rooted in best practice for those you serve.

We are able to provide supervision hours for those seeking licensure or credentialing in the following disciplines:

Licensed Master Clinical Social Workers (LCSW)

Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC)

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT)

Licensed Creative Arts Therapists (LCAT)

New York State Association for Infant Mental Health (NYSAIMH) Endorsement
